Privacy policy
Last updated: 14 October 2026. This policy describes the current offline Notizmo beta for Android and iPhone and this website. Planned AI editions are not active.
Notes stay in the app on your device
The current app stores your note contents, titles, folders, pins, colors and settings locally. It does not require a Notizmo account, display advertisements, or provide automatic cloud synchronization. The current app does not send your note content to a Notizmo server or an AI provider.
Your phone’s operating system, device backups, Google Play and Apple services have their own settings and privacy policies. Copies saved in an external storage or cloud service are governed by that service.
Device authentication and note locks
Optional app and note locks use the operating system’s biometric or device screen-lock authentication. Notizmo receives the authentication result; it does not receive your fingerprint template, face template or device PIN/passcode. Individual-note locks hide titles and previews and exclude contents from search.
These locks control access inside the app. They do not add separate passwords or note-storage encryption. Do not treat a locked note as an encrypted file.
Imports, exports and backups
You choose the files or shared text to import. Text exports and JSON backups are plain text. When you authorize an export of locked contents, those contents are included in the exported copy. Anyone with access to that file may read it. Keep backups in a location you trust.
Sharing sends a copy to the app, person or service you select. Notizmo cannot control how that destination handles your copy. Source-app attachments, handwriting and other unsupported content are not imported by the text-only migration route.
Permissions and widgets
Device authentication is used when you enable locks. File access is through files you select or share. The New note widget opens a blank note; it does not publish note titles or contents on your home screen. No dedicated app voice-recording feature is included in the current beta.
Support and testing
If you email support, the information you send—including your address, phone model, app version, bug description and any attachment—is used to respond and investigate the issue. Send only what is needed and remove private note contents from screenshots. Google Groups, Google Play and TestFlight process testing participation under their own policies.
To request deletion of information you sent directly to Notizmo support, email [email protected]. Platform account information must be managed with the relevant provider.
Deleting local data
Moving a note to Trash retains it for restoration; it is not permanent deletion. Uninstalling the app or clearing its app data removes local app data, subject to your device’s own backup/restore behavior. This does not delete exports, backups or copies shared elsewhere. Back up any notes you want to keep first.
This website
This website loads fonts from Google Fonts and is hosted through Cloudflare. Your browser sends connection information, such as IP address and browser details, to services it contacts; those providers may process technical logs and security information under their policies. This static site does not add advertising or analytics scripts. Email links open your chosen email service.

Future AI features and policy updates
Plus and Pro are planned AI upgrades. Before those features launch, this policy and the app’s disclosures will explain the data sent to a provider and available choices. The current offline app does not run those AI features. Check the date above for policy changes.
